The assembly of the Octacell pod can be freely chosen to best serve the users. The order of the glass walls and the walls without openings, the location of the door and handedness can be specified to fit the surroundings. Due to this free assembly of the pod, the Octacell pod integrates into the office setting, as the glass surfaces and doors can be placed at any location and face whichever direction. The exterior of the pod can be painted with a standard colour or any of the RAL colours or, alternatively, the outer surfaces can be veneered or upholstered. You can choose the colour of the acoustic surface upholstery inside the pod from 32 alternatives, in addition to the standard colour. All Octacell pod interior and exterior boards have quick release fasteners, so it is quick and easy to change the appearance of the pod. With the quick release fasteners, it is also possible to install displays and other presentation technology onto the interior and exterior surfaces of the pods. Octacell pods are equipped with power sockets, and the desired number of other requested electricity and data connections.

Excellent soundproofing and powerful ventilation

The soundproofing of Octacell pods was measured by means of field measurements in accordance with the new standard ISO-23351-1 and the result was noise insulation class A+ (33.1 dB). This result is one of the best results on the market. Soundproofing measurements were carried out by Helimaki Acoustics/Sitowise. Based on the results, Octacell pods can be placed in the immediate vicinity of workstations and confidential discussions can take place inside the pods without disturbance. The powerful ventilation of Octacell pods is created by the adjustable forced ventilation for extract and input air. Maintenance-free electric cooling available for the pods requires only the standard 230 V power supply.

In addition, each Octacell pod can be adjusted by rearranging the walls and glass surfaces. It is possible to adjust the size of all Octacell pods, transfer the pod to another location or rearrange the surface boards whenever required. Adjustable Octacell pods are a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution, as it is possible to utilise the full potential of the existing office space when building new premises. An average Octacell pod change takes one working day.
